So you know that I said I was working on some really big and exciting things, right?
I’m finally ready to tell you about it!
I made some pretty lofty goals for myself and MarshMueller this year. I’ve already managed to cross off most of them (crazy, huh?), but one of these goals absolutely terrified me. Even as I wrote it, my stomach tightened. There it was, on my banana leaf notebook, staring at me and compelling me to shut my studio door and never leave.
What was the goal? Get on with it, woman, you say.
It was to consider and explore wholesale options.
It’s not even a super actionable goal, really.
But there was something magical about putting it to paper, as while I turned away from it, the goal still found me.
Actually, it was some pretty amazing shop owners who found me through myEtsy shop.
I know, I know, you’re probably like, “WTH? She was a Buyer for a huge retailer for three years! This should be cake.”
Yeah, it’s one thing to be on the Buying end. This time, I was on the Selling end. Not only that, but also the manufacturer, distributor, marketer, you name it. The awesomeness that comes with owning your own business (I really do love it).
It really started in February (I know, this is embarassingly late, and I suck).
But the gist of it is that I came into contact with a super patient and awesome Buyer/Owner of The Bundle Store in Ballston Spa, New York, and she kept me going when creating my line sheet and the rest is actually, super easy peasy.
You can now shop local for MarshMueller items in the Ballston Spa, New York area! at The Bundle Store!
I don’t have a pic of the gorgeous boutique, but follow them on Facebook, or if you live in the area, go on down to 35 Milton Avenue and check out this amazing shop. Amber, the Owner, also offers classes on cloth diapering, making your own baby food, and is super engaging and supportive of new mamas and all parents.
I may not have a photo of The Bundle Store, but I do have a pic of the last shipment I sent them–it includes this exclusive Diaper + Wipe Clutch!
So go shop local!

Hey there, I'm Holly Marsh (Maker/Illustrator/Mama/Nerd), the force behind MarshMueller. I started the company in 2011 after getting frustrated with the ho-hum options in big box stores when creating my first son's woodland-animal-themed nursery. I hand-pick every fabric, thread color, and zipper, design my own sewing patterns, and moosh them all together to create rad products for parents and gift-givers in my Astoria, Oregon studio (aka MarshMueller Secret Labs).
